Gulshan Grover Biography And Nice Pics

Gulshan Grover
Biography:
The most loved 'bad men' of the silver screen; one of Gulshan Grover’s earliest film Sadma, told the visually haunting story of a school teacher played by Kamal Hassan and an amnesiac girl (Sridevi). But for a handful of sensitive performances, like Avataar, Sohni Mahiwal, Ram Lakhan and the likes, he swayed with the trends in Bollywood and resorted to hideous make-ups and voice contortions to play a spate of ‘baddie’ roles. But there was a period where villains almost became an endangered species in Bollywood, and Gulshan Grover flew to the West and did a sequel to Disney's The Jungle Book. He soon became a ‘likeable’ villain and his reputation reached unprecedented heights. He also scored a professional coup by becoming the first and only Bollywood star to be tapped by a Washington-based company to appear in television commercials for its international long-distance dialing number. He has worked in 5 foreign films, including the Tibetan We’re No Monks and the Italian Les, Mystères de Sadjurah where he played the main villain as a rebel chief. Worked with almost all the top directors of the country, Gulshan Grover’s recent movies include Rajkumar Santoshi's Lajja, Umesh Mehra's Yeh Mohabbat Hai, Kundan Shah's Kasam Se Prakash Jha's Rahul, 1947 Earth, 16th December, Jism, Paap, Subhash Chandra Bose and Dus. His forthcoming movies include My Bollywood Bride, Aryan, Family, Tom, Dick and Harry and The Fall.
